I use the Turtle Wax Platinum which is usually $8.99 at autozone. I found it and the detailer at big lots for $3.50. I guess when Ice came out it was time to trash something that worked.

I have noticed a lot people responded to your question, but has any one used a claybar on there bike before using any of the waxes? I prefer the clay magic , it can be had for $10 at autozone. it will do wonders for any, repeat any finish on any painted surface. It not only cleans the embeded dirt in the clearcoat/paint but it removes any old wax buildup or treesap or bug guts!
True, the clay bar is excellent for damaged finishes. I hope I never let mine get bad enough to need the clay....

nogood o~`o

Your paint is damged by the time your bike reaches you. EVERY new car and bike can benefit from using a clay bar on the paint and then a good wax on a new bike. Their are all kinds of dirt and comtaminents in your paint when you get your bike.

How do you figure that?

Without seeing your bike go out and buy a claybar kit and claybar your bike. You Will FEEL the difference.

Not to mention that ALL kinds of dust particles cures in the paint just enough that it can still be rubbed off. Hell Ford, Chevy, Toyota, NIssan I know for sure put out memos on "insutrial Fall out"

Now mind you a bike does not come on a rail car but it still gets dusty on curing paint.

Try it... I clay barred mine the day it came home.. WHAT A DIFFERENCE

what do you guys do for waxing around the emblems on the tank? Without getting a white residue behind them

Try the Zanio, no problems with the residue, didn't you learn that on the Harley truck boards[sm=icon_rofl.gif]
besides Zanio just came out with a couple new products, Z-5 Pro polish and Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal.
Once again Sal Zanio ups the wax game
