Default Another cam question

Is the TW6-6 cam a good choice for an o8 RK with slip-ons and SE A/C. Will also be putting a fuel management system on at the same time and getting a dyno.
It is torque that I am after as most of my riding is in the 2200-3000 RPM range and mostly 2 up. Would this be a good choice when not doing any head or piston work?? Thanks.

Not for a stock compression 88, unless you add a 4* advance key. PM Maineultraclassic, or use the search function.

A better choice for a stock 88 would be Head-Quarters HQ-0034; other popular choices are Andrews 21 and 26. I have the HQ-0034's and haven't though about a 95" build since they were installed.

An important key to early torque is an early intake valve close. You can use the cam comparator at bigboyz.com to compare three cams at once.

Note: OP's bike is a 96" motor, not an 88/95.

Actually the engine is a 96" and the bike has slip-ons and SE Ac as mentioned. Would the 4* advance key still be required. Any input from anyone who has any experience with this set up would be much appreciated.

If you are all about roll on torque from 2,000 rpm, the SE 255 cams have a 25* intake closing point, which is 11* sooner than a tw6-6 WITH four degrees advance. That is a bunch! The torque peak will be quite a bit higher , something it looks like you don't want. Search se255 cams ,and read up on happy users.
