Default 09 Ultra question

Friend of mine has an 09 CVO ultra. He called me this morning asking me if i knew where the battery is. He is not mechanical at all and while i am i ride a softail so i don't have any experience with the touring models. I told him to check his owners manual but he lost it. He asked me if i knew where it was because he doesn't want to start tearing stuff apart to find it. He said it is not under the seat. Can someone tell me where it is so I can pass it along. Strange request I know but in helping him it will make me smart to where it is also. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Tell him to remove the seat strap and then the bolt at the back of the seat, then just pull back and it will come off, then look under the covers and he will find his battery the terminals are on the side closet to the gas tank.
