I just got an 09 FLHRC and have incredible turbulence with the stock windshield.
As I recall from some years back a shorter shield helped this problem?
I would like some input before I hack 2 to 3 inches off.
I'm 5' 9" if that helps??
Give me your feedback
The air baffle will help a lot! The best $25 I ever spent on chrome. It's stock (but plastic) on the Road Glide but not on the other touring bikes for some strange reason. Part number is 58520-79TC. Don't do anything to your windshield until you try this first!
I just added the baffle and hate it. Made the buffeting worse. I guess every situation is unique. I think I'm going to try the clearview recurve with the same 9.5" height I currently have.
I'm also going to take the little visor off my shorty helmet and see if that helps.
