Default flhtcu lowering question

Have an 07 flhtcu and would like to lower it. Wondering which would be the better system to go with. Anyone give advise on how Arnott compares with Legend or Shotgunshock or another company.

Arnott works great. Had to lower my 09 Ultra and it does a fine job. I bought the kit and installed it myself. I would not be without it.

Arnott sounds like the best solution. Trying to decide between the 12 or 13

a lot of guys are using the stock streetglide shocks. it lowers the back end an inch or so. although by doing the lowering that way, you lose an inch of rear suspension travel. i'm 6'4" tall, and i still like my streetglide. handles and runs great, and looks cool, and it doesn't **** me off, so i'm keepin it. look in the classified ads in the forum, there are usually streetglide shocks for sale there. and far cheaper than aftermarket stuff, and is of usual great quality harley.

Had a Heritage which I lowered and got along great. Decided to move up to the Ultra and being 5'6 was a little concerned about the height problem. Bought a lowering kit off the web which is designed to bolt into the existing bottom shock hole and then rocker down and not happy with it. It lowers it but keep bottom out to the point of having the tire rub on the wiring harness. Had the shocks pumped to 30lbs and didnt matter and afraid to go any higher for the 07 specs. Hoping the air will bring it down for stopping purposes and looking for the best solution.
