Plus 1 on the RAM mount. Just don't put it in your saddle bag when you park the bike or you will have to replace both ..........

Check out gpscity.com and go to the RAM mounts section. They have a very nice adjustable iPod holder. Mine is mounted to the handlebars. I also bought an extra and adapted it to use for my drink cup holder for long trips.

For anyone interested, I have the Kuryakyn Universal Mount PN 1421, works great for the ipod. I had it on the bike for one week and went with the Fuel door mount instead. Will sell for $40 shipped anywhere in CONUS.
