Red face Corbin Seat

I've had 3 Corbin seats now on 3 different Harleys and loved each one. Last one is on a 2005 CVO Electra Glide with 12k miles on it. Dual touring seat. Bought this one with the heated option and although we've used the heat only a few times, it's great when you need it.

For those that live close enough to make a trip to the Corbin shop in No. Cal, it is well worth it. Fun experience, custom seat made on the spot for you. Call for an appt. and then plan a ride to Corbin. Some great roads around there, so you can easily spend a few days riding the area.

It's a matter of personal taste, but I think the Corbin saddle looks great on the bike. Pricey, but remember.....you can't take it with you!

Could anyone else post some pictures of their dual touring seat from other angles? I am trying to get a idea of how much rise there is from the rider area to the passenger area. Also how is the reach to the ground?

I have the dual Touring Corbin and the Stinger, and the Solo. Corbin makes a great seat. But their customer service has gone to hell in the couple of years. Try and either buy a good used one off EBay (Theres some good deals there) or get one directly at one of the factories. Less chance of them screwing up your order if you're right there. BTW, I've got at least 250,000 miles on Corbin saddles, and I personally think they are the best you can buy. Each person has to find what works for them, and they work for me.... Good Luck

I just put a tape on my dual tour and the passenger is 5 inch's higher than the rider. Corbin makes a range of dual tour seats I have the top shelf dual unit that locks to my bike with hi & low heating There a firm saddle that take time to get used to but once masted you can spend many days riding with out any discomfit. I will never buy another brand.

2002 Road King, Corbin Dual Tour equipped. My seat is the "close" model with dual heat. Is is very comfortable after the first say 1500 miles and just keeps getting better with age. It fits my a$$ like a glove now. I love the Dual Tour (have the classic solo as well).

The close model Dual TOur raised my seating position just under 1/4 inch- it made a noticeable difference, but I lowered the bike 1" so its all good...

Wow Kbore, I am shocked that the close model raises you a 1/4". I will have to talk to them about that. I can not be any higher than I am now. On the close model is the passenger seat still 5" higher than the rider area?

Default Corbin

Now for the other side.

Had a Corbin dual touring seat on my 97 RK.

Cons- very expensive, questionable craftsmenship, hard as a rock after 100 miles or 1,000 miles.

Pros- looks good. Real leather.

This was over the already lower SUNDOWNER seat- not the stock seat so from stock you should see a reduced seatng height. It raised mine less than 1/4 but it did raise it- THe butt area is padded for heating coils, so the non heated seat will probably be a reduction. Sorry to add confusion to your decision.
