Simple as pie. No problems at all, should take you about ten minutes.

I have been looking at replacing my stock grips.
I was worked about the 09's throttle by wire rather then cable.
Is it that quick ?
Any problems with the throttle getting stuck or hard to twist?

On the throttle side mark the h-bars with a sharpie so that you can align the back in the same place. Do not take it completely apart. I just loosened up my screws on the brake side just enough to get the old part out and the new grip in. Tighten back down in the same position or the brake light will stay on. That is what happened to me. Just loosen the clamp again and move it to the propper place and the brake light will work correctly again. Left side is easy. Cut off and glue the new one on. Not hard except keeping the right side in the correct alignment. Check your brake light to make sure that it goes out when hand brake is not applied when you are finished.
