my santees were defective right from factory and they also have had to recall several models fro breaking welds leaving bars in your lap at speeds..
i fully regret going with santee.
I just ordered some. Hope I have better luck. Can't see how welds are breaking on something that is bent in a mandril bender. Kind of strange. I can see coming bent or something like that but broken welds??
My friend just picked up his '11 SG and he has the 14" Santees in Black. I have 13" Burly's on my '07. I'll get pics tonight comparing the two (if it isn't storming out???). Also, with his 14's he can use the stock mirrors, I had to add some on the bars.

because not all are bent....mine and SEVERAL of the new ones are 2 sizes of pipe slid together and welded at joint...i have the 1.25" bars with 1" bars slid inside to allow the grips and risers to work....it's how santee makes em.
the large bars are bent...the smaller ones are welded. and even on the large bars where the grips mount they are welded if they are 1.25's
I have the 11 inch santee on my 07 s glide. love them. fit and finish is realy nice. Blocks mirrors a little but just takes getting used to it. I'll try and get some pics
I'm in the process of installing 14" Santee's on my 11 SG right now! I'm suppose i'll be doing some durablilty testing once i'm done with the install.....cuz i tend to pull wheelies every chance i get!!!
