Yes, worth every penny. I have one and love it. What do you suppose your head is worth? Would you rather spend $200.00 on chrome? Won't save the ol' noggin!
Drove an hour and a half to try one on and it wasn't any better on my fat head than other DOT half helmets. I was very disappointed.
But I did get a nice ride in!
I love my ACC helmet. The weight of the helmet is what I like, more so than the look. Got mine from The Helmet Shop in Daytona. They had the best price. $161.00 They shipped the day I called and got it in 2 days. They shipped with different thickness liner pads to get a custom fit for the size you order. I ordered mine with out the visor snaps but would reconsider if ordering another.

+1. Our local dealer, Sound Harley, carries these so I had a chance to check them out. The Carbon Fiber / Head Trip helmets may be slightly smaller than many DOT helmets, but they still have the stupid mushroom look. There is no getting around it if you want DOT.
