Power comander ???

when you order the power commander v from fuelmoto, who has the best prices by the way, tell them what modifications you've made and they'll send it premapped to match what mods you've done to your bike. it's an easy install, and makes a huge difference, especially for as little money you spend for the pcv. great mod for the money indeed.
Yes. With a fuel tuner, it will help to make the engine run more efficiently, reducing the need to twist the grip so hard to make the bike perform the desired task. Also, fuel amounts can be reduced in areas of the fuel map that are "cruising zones", thus helping to improve mileage.
Fuel Moto are very good at what they do, and have a good reputation on this forum.

I may be wrong on this, but if you already have a stage I download, then your must have already purchased a SERT/SEST from the dealer for $400, they would have had to use one to flash the computer in your bike with the Stage I download.... the SERT programmer does the same thing as a power commander (Provides a method to customize and tune Fuel Delivery and Ignition Timing), you just need someone to give your bike a good Dyno tune, Harley's stage I tune is their basic map they flash into the bikes, We have found harley's Stage I downloads to be better than stock, but after combing through on the Dyno we almost always get another 10hp and 15+ ft. lbs out of the bikes that have pipes and intakes.
A stage one download does not necessarily mean that you have a sest. It is merely a download to the ECM. You might lose a little fuel mileage with a power commander but it really depends on the specifics of the map and the bike. I have seen people get the smae mileage, better, mileage, and worse mileage. I do know will get more out of your bike with a power commander.

My fuel mileage got better after the PC-V. I was hovering in the high 30's and now am in the mid 40's to low 50's. I got 52mpg on the last fill, which is insane to me. I used to regularly get 38. 45mpg is more typical for me, though.
Oh, I should mention that is not a canned map. That is based on a dyno tune from Sinister Cycles in Las Vegas.
