Yep, I did the same, bought the speakers first and then called Pez and he sent me the amp. It made all the differance in the world. But I also made a third call and got the Pod, do yourself a favor, save yourself that third phone call, order the tweeter pod with the amp. If yea don't, you will eventually make that third call :-)

Yeh I have painted a ton of the pods and put one up to my bike and with the apes it wont fit. to make it fit I would have to pul the bars back toward me and that wont look good.

I agree, just do it all at once and save shipping.

How much are the sets for a Road Glide. I have J&M which sounds good, but I have a cheaper amp that distorts it a bit.

So I have the Hogtunes speaker upgrade and the Tweeterpod. The sound is a little muddled at higher speeds ( of course the 10" shield helps ) . Now the upgradeitis is pulling at me and I wonder about how much better the sound would be with the Hogtunes AMP. Anyone give me any user reports on before and after installing the AMP? My 09 streetglide with the stock radio has the satellite module which, I'm told, takes up the space on top of the radio where the AMP should be mounted; comments?

The amp makes more improvement than the speakers do.
