I suggest keeping your stock seat on the way to Sturgis. Then try some out there. Your will have more than enough to look at. And From all my Sturgis mod experience, you will save a nice chunk of change too! And then just ship your old seat home

I have the Mustang Touring on mine. On my stock I was getting butt burn after the first 3-4 hours on a 600 mile day trip.
On the Mustang, I went the 600 miles with no butt problems at all. Both were one day trips.

Wally makes a good point - aspirin is your friend on tour! I take one at my first gas stop and again middle of the day. Really helps....

i bought the mustang one piece seat, drivers back rest, and tour pak back pad. mustang's tour pack pads arm rests are close to 2" longer than HD stock set-up. i have also NEVER been a fan of driver backrests....having one has totaly change my mind!

when i installed my new seat i added George Andersons tour pak "move it back" kit so that my wife would have more room since i was adding the drivers backrest.

wife and i can ride 600 miles a day with no discomfort.

thanks for the info guys. Does anyone here know the difference between the Regal 1 pc seat and the one piece smooth touring seat? I know that the regal has tufted fabric and the smooth one is well.....smooth LOL.....I didn't know if there were any other differences? It looks like they both accept the OEM backrest.
