Every time I think about someone having to wait for thier harley a ketchup commercial pops in my head and then I cant get the tune Anticpation outta my head. Thanks a lot, now I will be walking around all day humming that tune. I hope that the antipation makes the reality sweeter. I can just never wait, color be damned, if its the right model, I leave on it. Maybe I am an impulse buyer.
The Classic is the middle ground betweeen the Standard and the Ultra. Powder coated engine instead of bare aluminum, sterio with two speakers in the Batwing, King Tourpac, more colors to choose from, more chrome, thin white wall tires, etc...... The Ultra has all the above and alot more. Even more chrome, better sterio with 4 speakers, CB radio, fairing lowers on crash bar........ and I could go on. Check them out on the HD website. The Standard is a damn good bang-for-your-buck bike, but I wanted what the Classic had to offer. I didn't need all the bells and whistles of the Ultra. Rented an Ultra a couple years ago and it had more features than I had a chance to become familiar with in just one weekend. Great ride though! I would never have thought such a large bike could be such a pleasure to handle. The wife loooooooved the back rest on the Tour Pac. Thus, my choice.
