ok all, my 2005 road king custom currently has Bub Stubbies (see pic) and I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to keep them or go for the Bub 7 true dual exhaust. Which do you think is a better choice? I assume the true duals would be a little quieter and probably cool the bike down some? Also, I will be putting hard bags on at somepoint (probably next year) and am thinking they would maybe be to close to the current set up...opinions? suggestions?

 

My opinion is you don't see too may baggers with the two right side pipes. Different look that is very traditional Harley.

On the flip-side those tips may be a little close for comfort with hard bags. I'd be concerned with the heat blistering the paint.
