What do you guys think about HD offering as an option, an automatic transmission for the touring bike lineup? Would you choose that option, or not? I would be interested in the pros & cons of this choice.
Normally, I would say who wants an automatic motorcycle. Honda has tried it with not much success. After today, sitting in Laconia rally traffic, an automatic might not be such a bad idea.
I would now not want one. (Maybe in My twilight years, I will). There a lot of people who have physical limitations that would ride Harley's if this option were available. I say, Harley should GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, but I got You beat! The last poll on this forum, I was the oldest biker. Got My first bike ( A Whizzer) at 14yrs old. If You are old enough to remember the american made Whizzer, Harley 125cc, or The Sears Red Italian made Moped or the great cushman eagle, than you in Your twilight Years. Are You?
I would love one on my ultra.I get tired of holding in the clutch lever sitting at redlights.I never thought i would like cruise control but i do.Some guys would say if you want all that crap just drive a car.I disagree.
