I bought First Gear about 3 years ago and I use the crap out of them. I wear them at least once ot twice a week or more. The are a little discolored now , Yellow top and black pants , but still are in great condition. They have the heat protection for the legs and a liner to make getting them on and off easier. For winter riding, just get Gerbings heated gear and it covers staying warm with just a long T shirt on. It is rain proof and not bulky. I know, been there and done that. Period.

+1 on the Nelson-Rigg, good quality stuff, and will not leak, even after many hours. It does take up about 1/4 of a saddle bag, but having it there increases my confidence in going anywhere, anytime.

Soos, this is the stuff I have used/use. 98028-09VM around $ 139.00 US. I do not have the rain gaiters yet, but eventually they will find away into my tourpack.I also ride with the FXRG windproof/water resistant gloves, but I hate the stupid visor squeege as if you try to wipe your face you generally scratch yourself with that little feature on the left glove.
Will it last for ever I dont know, but I am sure it is small enough for me to pack and use when the need arises.
