HogTunes Hogpod and Firecap's Arc 6.5s with arc 125.2 installed
Well already had Firecap501's Arc 6.5 FD6000 speakers and 125.2 Arc amp installed but just put my HogPod on today.. Put on the cloth grills that came with the HogPod instead of the metal grills to go along with the stock speaker covers. Almost a super easy install, had to trim the lead's connection tabs to fit into the speaker lead tabs of my Arc Speaker tabs, but it all works!!
Now I am rocking out to some Zeppelin, too bad the camera phone washes out the info on the Garmin 660 unit. Yeah got rid of the ipod mount, and just pumping tunes through the Garmin which is super fast.. and stereo output is crystal clear from the new Garmin 660. Easy to make play lists too, yeah I converted my itunes songs into variable bit mp3s with a volume leveler..did it with media monkey... too bad I had to boot to windows to use it on my MacBook Pro. But anyways it sounds awesome now.

Well the highs are defiantly there with the hogpod. I think it sounds even better, with great bass sound from the ARC 6.5s and now tweeters... in a very nice looking Hogpod. Looks like the dashpad thing that does nothing... but the Hogpod sure does something!!
Very nice quality I must say. Yeah I still have the tweets and huge **** crossovers I got with the ARC speakers but the Hogpod has crossovers built into the pod itself. So saved me the grief of finding room for them huge **** crossovers and finding a spot for them tweeters.
congrats. I am personally not loving my ARC amp. It keeps getting messed up. I first thought it was the speakers so i swapped out to alpine's and it still happens. I am going to be ditching the stock radio next.
Never heard a Hawg Wired system... that I know of. I have their website bookmarked along side Hogtunes and Firecaps. But I went to firecap501 first..glad I did. And now put a Hogtunes hogpod on to compliment the Arc 6.5 speakers.
Mike5959, I'd give a call to Firecap when you have time to mess with your bike and try to figure it out.

I have spoken to wayne and the outcome was to add a resistor. I am going to go to an aftermarket radio. What I dont understand is that others have installed this and dont have the same issues.
