Today I picked up my 08 Ultra, which was at the dealer for it's 15,000mi service. when I took it in, I complained that the engine was pinging quite a bit under load. Rode it 215mi today and no more pinging. The repair order only list normal maint. was done. However They did reflash the ECM With Calibration ID: 32935-08D, Part Number34245-08, Description of new calibration: Stock United States.....Does anyone know what this is? Thank You! PS: My bike is bone stock, except for the bling.

I would like to know cuz I pinged every day out west. It doesnt ping in illinois just where i like to ride. I have a 07 ultra with stage 1 filter, stg 1 download , and rush slipon pipes with the 2.5 " baffles.
Maybe someone can tell us. Since my orginal post, I now have approx. 650 miles since the calibration and no pinging whatsoever, in 100 temps. Meant to ask the dealer about the calibration, but have'nt had time to stop by. PS: My engine is stock.
I don't know what it does either. I was in having my ABS flashed with service bulletin M-1239 and the tech mentioned that a new flash for the EFI was available, also. It's 32935-08E. He told me that since it went from "D" to "E" it probably didn't change much. It's probably just me, but the bike seemed to run smoother after the flash. The Brembo ABS brakes are definitely better after the flash. Small bumps in the road don't affect ABS activation like it use to. The rear brake now stays activated and doesn't release when hitting bumps.
This is on a 2008 Streetglide. Since the two year warranty is about over for the '08s, I'd get the M-1239 flash if I owned a 2008 bike with ABS. It's well worth it (it's free if you ask and your bike is still under warranty.) I feel it should be a safety recall on all ABS equipped bikes.
