Lower Fairing Quick Release for FLTRs
Since adding the SE 103 Kit my bike is too hot with the lower fairings. Last summer the heat was not too bad but the additional CCs and probably the tune make it very uncomfortable now. I recently took them off and wow what a difference. I'd like to have them for long rides and bad weather so I'm thinking about making it easier to get them on and off. Has anyone used the quick connect on their Road Glide lowers and what's been your experience?

Had an 05 RG with the lowers and they made the bike too hot even with the Hoppe vents. Have an 08 Ultra with the factory lowers and the vents are the bomb. I have the QR kit on them as well. Don't know that it would work on the RG. If you have a good parts guy at your stealer he may know. I'm wondering if the new TourGlide will have lowers with vents like the ultra, The only time I take my lowers off is when the bike needs a super cleaning.
