On a scale of 1 to 10, stock being one and Rino's or Bubs7 being ten, I would rate the Supertrapp slipons a 4 with stock headers and 5 with true duals. They sound great in loudness and just as importantly, tone. I proably will be swicthing back to them shortly as my hearing has changed. The Bubs7 are the best if you like loud pipes.

A 3db increase translates into a 41% louder volume, which would be noticeable. The Fuel Moto Dyno-Tuned Jackpot mufflers are 1.9db greater than stock, which is a tad below 25%. I would think the SE's would be the quietest slip-ons over stock with Jackpots being second or close.

I would suggest to the OP that he contact Fuel Moto and get their advise. They sell most brands of mufflers at an excellent price and will guide you reliably and honestly.

I just put them on my 09 road king using 8 discs per side -- dont seem any loader than stock. Nice thing is you can change the number of discs to make them louder or quieter.
