Works very well and a lot cheaper than "real" true dual head pipes. some people dont like the heatsheild look on the fullsac conversion but it does reduce the heat on the right side...
Have a set on order right now. Did a lot of research on here before I ordered and didn't find ANY bad comments. Everyone that has tried them seems to like them. They are very friendly to deal with on the phone.
They should help with the heat issue and they should also help improve the sound as with other true dual pipes but there are far more dents and restrictions in the stock pipes than a "real" set of duals so they may not match the performance potential of "real" true duals.
Your decision depends on if you are looking for a cheap solution or you are looking for maximum performance increase.
BTW Don't attempt to use your stock mufflers with True duals - the left and right mufflers flow differently. As a minimum you're asking for tuning problems. Be sure to install new performance mufflers.
Do a search, they have been discussed here in the past. I used a set on my bike's original pipes and liked them so much that when later I gave the bike a face-lift I bought real true duals!
Overseas readers may like to know that when I bought mine Fullsac wouldn't ship abroad, which was a pain. I have family in the US and had them sent through them.
Click under my sign pic and you can see them on.
I did get another heat shield (18") from J&P and did some trimmimg
Very pleased with the results and sound
I was going to buy it, but found a new set of V&H duals for 220...I made out.
So for the extra 50 bucks I went with the V&H
VERY HAPPY with no heat on the leg..."one of the best mods" i've done
