WTF? Tire rub

So, I have the stock dunlop whitewalls on my 99 RKC and I have recently put a smooth front fender on the bike (FLHX fender). For some reason the tire has started rubbing the fender. I don't know what the deal is or why it's doing it but it is. I'm going to pull the wheel today and look up in there to see exactly where it's rubbing but it pisses me off because I am leaving for OKC in 2 days and it's starting to screw up and i now have a nice black ring and a gouge all the way around the white wall. I checked the clearance before I rode it and it had some room. I guess the tire movement caused it to get into the fender... anyone else had similar issues??

I put the same fender on my '99 FLHR, and am running a new set of E3's with no rubbing issues. Not sure what could cause that?

any blemishes on the tire? sometimes if it is big enough it causes a "rub"

Did you bend the tabs over the fender bolts when the SG fender was installed? The SG fender should be a straight bolt on replacement if properly installed.
