It's coming along....
I received my Dead Center fairing today and got it installed. It was a pretty easy install except for the splice clip didn't work worth crap so I had to wire it the old fashioned way. I still need to install my chrome front end, but I'm not in a hurry to do that after everthing else I've done lately. I'm not sure if I'll be able to hear the stereo at freeway speeds with the Bub 7's though!
Anyway, here are a couple pictures of the work in progress.

Ok my honest opinion.. The dash looks huge but it could prolly be improved on with just some contrasting paint.. Its a tough deal when your gauges are in the tank. Im sure your already noticing the benefits of a nice batwing though.. My 2 cents ,, It does look good on your scoot ..............
For the rest of you guys that have DC fairings....what have you done with your dash? I agree that it does look huge, but I like the idea of having space to mount other things. Also, it seems to me that the remote control for the stereo sucks. I tried mounting it in several different places and it never worked. It's like it has to be directly in front of the stereo to function. Since this setup doesn't support handlebar controls I was really hoping to be able to mount and use the remote somehow.
I got it out on the freeway this morning on the way to work and I had to crank it up pretty high, but I was able to hear the stereo. Now I just have to figure out some way of mocking up some type of hand controls.
