Default 2 into one exhaust

I've got a TC88, FLHT. 05, as of now, I have rinehart true duals, SE 203 cams and an Arlen Ness big sucker. I want power, but don't wanna do head work. Would it be worth selling the duals and getting a 2 into1 set up, probably Rinehart. I could probably get away with not spending much if I can sell the duals at a decent price. Will the 2 into 1 give me more? P.S. I also have the original carb, yes carb on it. It's jetted well and works great, but maybe that's something to consider, I don't know. Any help is appreciated. Thanx.

I got the same itch about a month ago. I sold my True dual Rinehart's and bought a Rinehart 2-1. It did make a difference in seat of the pants power and sounded good. I just could not get past the look. I took it off the next weekend. I had it on for one day of riding probably about 200 miles. If you decide to make a change I am going to sell it. If you are interested just let me know.

I sold my Rineharts and bought a Fat Cat for less than what I got for the Rineharts used and the bike not only ran better but it also got better gas milage, it also sounds better IMO.

The 2-1 will definetly perk it up over the duals, I also fought the look of the 2-1 but went with with the ST supermeg anyway, not crazy about the look of one pipe but I did get used to it and it definetly runs much better, don't worry about the carb, the cv can hold its own until you get into the much bigger bulds.

the 2-1 wont do much at wot but will give some gains in torque it will come on sooner and stronger in the 2-3000 rpm range (where we spend the most time)

and dont forget the wieght losin 20#of muffler is like free hp.
