Default Kuryakyn Relocator Brackets (4588)? 1

I know Soos and Harleygoodies 1" extensions are great, but I am looking for 1" out from stock and 1" forward floorboard extensions on an 09 RKC

Looking at the Kuryakyn Relocator Brackets (4588 @ http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...Detail/IMID/83).

Anybody got Experience with These?

Put a set on my 08 Street Glide. I'm 6'3" so my toes still hang off while cruising, but they definately helped. One piece of advise, don't over torque the bolt/nut that they send with it. I snapped one off and had to put a non-chrome one on instead. Luckily it doesn't really show unless you're looking for it.

+1 on the over tightening. I had to add some thin washers as shims as they were very sloppy loose intially.

Once the tinkering was done they are awesome. I'm also 6'3". Much more comfortable now.

I've had the ones from Soos and they work great, but I changed for the kuryakyn because I wanted the 1 inch forward as well and they worked great too.

Just installed them on my FLHTC and they work great. Only unexpected thing I found is that they seem to raise the boards by a small amount in the process.
