OK, get this . . . V-Rod sales are down and we all know that touring bike sales are up. I think it is very possible that a V-Rod Muscle with bags and fixed fairing is in the works. Is it a water cooled Road Glide? No but it's close.

Might be a way for HD to sell more V-rod platforms.

What do you guys think?????

yup '09 is the last of the RG...for now...they brought back the Softtail Custom...so you never know.

some speculate a glide of some sort...possibly a version of the V-rod with a fixed fairing..should be interesting

If you heard it on the internet it has to be true.

Plus I heard that they are definintely moving the throttle to the left side on all 2010 touring bikes in a cooperative agreement with the DOT to cut back on the dangers of the biker wave.

I just heard that on July 25th the announcement will be that there will be no new 2010 Harleys made . . . can't sell all of the 09s and will be working to create a supply and demand shortage and double the price on the leftover 09s !!! I did not hear it on the grapevine . . . I read it on the internet! :-)

I heard on the internet that they are going to have rear wheel steering on the tour models and some of the softails will be zero turn.

I heard from a friend who heard from a friend that there will only be water-cooled touring bikes and they've done away with the rear belt and gone to a front wheel gear drive so it'll handle better in snow.

Snow chains are optional.

Top speed is 50 mph but it does have an 11 speed transmission so it'll climb a wall at 1 mph.
