Upgrade Suggestions
Read alot of threads and still can't decide. So I thought that I would write my own. I have a 2008 Ultra Classic, brought it new and just added rush slip-ons with 2 1/2 inch baffles and heat shields have 6,700 miles on it. The bike runs great, gets hot but we don't have alot traffic in Montana. Planning a trip to southern California, heard their is alot of traffic there. So, the question is which fuel managment system works the best on the 2008. Hope to get some opionions quick, leaving mid July. Heard that this upgrade would help with the heat issue.

if you're using the harley 360 oil, the dinosaur type, then the switch to synthetic will drop the temp a noticeable amount. i installed a power commander V also known as a pcv. i got it from this sites sponsor, fuelmoto. and am happy with it. but if all you've done is install slip ons the fuel management isn't needed. good luck, there are many ways to go, if you go to the screamin eagle air cleaner and the stage one download, you'll see a vast improvement in all areas. that is a huge gain in performance just the download, air cleaner and pipes alone. which is what i did with my 08. then i also did the pcv and it isn't mapped perfect but it's close. and it does help with heat too.
