I purchased my Mistress(2010 Ultra Classic) last Novemeber with dealer installed SE slip-ons. I was very satisfied with the performance of the stock twin cam 96, but extremely dissatisfied with the overbearing heat output of the rear cylinder.
I have read numerous post on fuel controls and stage 1 air kits, most are power seeking and talk about dyno numbers. I mostly thought it to be a waste of money - wasn't my money - wasn't my scoot, but a reduction of heat was usually involved. That got my attention.
I finally made the decision to order a PCV and stage 1 air kit from Fuelmoto. Man was my eyes opened. I apologize for all of my uninformed misplaced thoughts. I order to reduce the heat, but the difference in performance is unbelivable. The SEs really bark now and the scoot is sooooo smooth.
I just installed and only rode a couple of miles up the road we have light showers today. Installation took about 2.5 hrs mainly because of the two allen screws behind the stock plastic air box. I lost about 1 hour getting them out. Everything else when silky smooth.
I tip my hat to the guys at Fuelmoto their top shelf.
