Was debating about using this rally as an "excuse" to come home for few days. Can anyone tell me what events usually go on at this state rally? From Santa Fe there are quite a few good day rides..... While Albuquerque is not that much further south (60 miles) I would think it would impact some of the riding events a bit.... Can anyone one tell me any details?
I'd seen this link but the information I'm looking for was not really available on the site... To sum it up, I'm looking more for "whats the experience" type of info.... from someone that had attended previous NM Hog rallies. For example:
Any ideas where the guided tours go? Are they just up to Santa fe/Los Alamos? Or do they hit some of the really cool sights a little further up north.
Is this more of a "drinking" rally or more of a "riding" rally.
Note, I realize a rally can be what you want it to be. It's just I know they are usually more influenced by one thing or another. So a general feel for the overall rally would be great to know.
