Took my ultra into shop for check-up they sprayed some spray and wipe cleaner on it to wipe the dust and bugs off as a good customer service. I said thank you and didn't notice the over spray on my chrome engine parts until I got home about 75 miles. I have tried all types chrome polish to remove and can't get it off. Looks really bad on 09 ultra. It is on the rocker covers and outer primary cover, and cam cover. I went by the shop and told them about it and they said use semi chrome polish. I did and it did not work either Need help please.
S100 metal polishing soap is an outstanding product. Everyone I've told about it had thanked me after they used it. It is the same polish that jewlers use. Give it a try and thank me later.
Most HD shops carry it or you can order it online.
Never Dull. Takes a little elbow grease but makes the chrome look fantastic. Available at Wally World or any auto parts store. Comes in a small silver can.

anything that has even the slightest bit of abrasive will attack the surface of chrome. i'd be using dawn dishwashing detergent and a bucket of water and a paint brush first. it's probably a silicone sort of shine-em-up stuff that looks sorta sticky, like a light coating of syrup that you can't seem to wipe off. the dawn/water and paintbrush and or microfiber or even a clean or new terry cloth rag will break the silicone film.

I used it on my Primary cover and it left millions of micro-scratches on it. In my opinion, Never Dull sucks bigtime for chrome. Works OK on aluminum, but there are much better products for that too.
