So I go to Wally world and look for spandex bicycle shorts?
You have an item # or a name to look for?
I was at Wally World today and looked. I didn't find what I thought you guys were talking about. Can you help us out with a brand name or where to look at WW. Are they in the underwear section or sporting goods??? Help me out. I'm all about being comfortable.
Note to self, no polyester blend. Must be primarily spandex!

I went to Wally World today also and they only had some made by "Starter" about 85% poly & 15% spandex.
Next I go to Acadamy every thing is the same 85% poly & 15% spandex. Under Armor ($25), N I K E ($20) and BCG ($10). I bought the BCG Compression shorts and wiil try them out tomorror golfing.
What is the name brand of the mostly spandex you are talking about?

I checked the Under Armour site and all they have is 85% poly 15% spandex. I'd also like the name brand of a mostly spandex shorts
Talent Sport. 85% Nylon and 15% spandex. Got mine in the sports department. Ask for sliding shorts and get the ones without padding. Should do the trick. Since they are nylon instead of poly might be the difference. Plus the fact they are 15% spandex and not 5%. Again still a work in progress. Guess I got lucky the first time around.
Wonder how those shorts would work on a ride like I had today. Started in 95F sunshine for 90 miles down to Ocala HD. Return trip was overcast for 20 miles, then pouring down rain with lightning for 10 miles, overcast again, then hot and sunny again for last 15 miles. Of course, the rain hit me on a section of the road that had no place to hide except for lots of trees.
This may be a stupid question, but is "Wally World" a synonym for Wal-Mart but like Kool Speak? Never heard of that store, only the destination in a Chevy Chase movie..
Try the seat beads..... www.cyclecraft.com I bought them and no longer have monkey butt.Plus down here in the Texas heat, your rear won't sweat. The beads distribute the pressure points on your rear end.The plus is they are only $19.95 !
Went to wally and looked at the flankin shorts they have. Based only on feel they look to be able to do the job even though they are 85% poly. Couldn't find the ones I started with.
