Say Goodbye to Butt Burn!!!!!!

The main thrust, pardon the pun, is getting the heat off the seat.
Wicking underwear might be a good idea...not tried that approach yet, however, lenny is spot-on with the bead rider seat.

Here in the Mid-Atlantic, the humidity along with the heat-from-the-seat can be intense enough to send one packing to the dermatologist. Have to admit, I've been there too. The doc was sympathetic. Maryland is horse country, and many male horse riders that wear leather have the same problem in the hotter weather. Imagine that. Wonder what the cowboys did over a hundred years ago did to combat the saddle burn.
Anyway, getting back to the point. I received the bead rider seat this past Thursday and had it on my Road Glide in time for a ride into Pennsylvania Friday.
There IS quite a comfortable difference...the woven beads allow just enough air to circulate between the rider and the seat to prevent a damp condition. Laugh if you will, those that have shared the pain won't.
This bead rider will add enough comfort to the ride not only by creating a dryer condition, the beads spread the pressure points around enough stimulating blood flow and less tension. Didn't believe it until I tried it, but found the comfort added directly to the desire to ride further and longer.
Hope you all find some use from the diatribe above. Once you have a drawer full of expensive underwear, then perhaps you'll consider the bead rider...it's been two years since I first heard of it...and I'm now glad I now have the bead rider...
enough already...I'm done.
