I use a Sony with image stabilization and it works just fine.

It's greatness because of the squeeze grip (ball & socket) adjuster. Makes aiming a snap - while riding!

I use the GoPro HERO Motorsports Wide 5MP camera (see it here http://www.goprocamera.com/?utm_sour...paign=redirect. It shoots video, timed, burst and mounts one several locations on my RKC using the included mounts. It does a fantastic job for what it's designed for, and I don't screw up an expensive camera in the process.
