As you can see this is my first post. I have been reading the touring forum for quite sometime and thanks for all the great information. I'm currently riding a 2005 FF edition Ultra. This is my fourth HD and my second Ultra. I'm working today and I don't have the bike or owners manual with me. I am going on a ride in the AM and would like to create a CD for the ride. I normally use an MP3 player but I won't have it tomorrow. What music format will the CD player play and what will give me the most songs on a CD? I searched the archives and did not find a real good answer. I have access to itunes and windows media player. I understand that I can create a data CD in itunes that will hold approx. 150 songs on a CD. Is this my best choice? Thanks again for all the help.
Just burnt a CD in MP3 format the other day.I put 194 music files (10.7 hrs)....Took a 3hr ride and the only thing I can say is the radio is fantastic.........
is there a certain size CD you are using to burn that many songs onto 1 cd,my boy(12) has been trying to burn a cd for me,and can only get about 15 songs on a CD in mp-3 format. Thank god for kids these days,LOL they seem to know how to do all kinds of thing on the computor,my computor skills are fairly lame,LOL
I burn them on a music CD from Memorex as they are for home audio and computer writers. The songs have to be changed from ACC format to mp3's before you record them.Another thought is to burn them on an RW disc then play it to make sure it is right. Then transfer them to an R disc.........JB.
