TBW grips much easier than cable throttle ones for sure.

Mine was a snap also but was just reading a thread where someone was replacing theirs and was having problems afterwards with his front brake. There was some speculation among posters that in shifting the right side block that perhaps the front brake reservoir was tipped enough to allow air into the brake line.

I switched mine out 2 wks ago. Removed sticky stock grips for HD 'black diamond' grips. The 30 minute change took me about 1.5 hours which isn't too bad for someone without the instructions! I have a cable throttle on my 07 Roadking and the worst part was removing/installing the cables (and FERULES) without breaking anything - I was sweating BULLETS! After all was done, everything still worked - nice suprise! I imagine Throttle-By-Wire will be MUCH EASIER! In worst case scenario, you fail, call Harley dealership, they secretly pick it up, fix it and nobody is the wiser!!<grin>
