Default PC V / Fuelmoto?

Is this a worthwhile investment?
Does it make sense to do this w/o dyno tuning?
Do most people get the sensor kit or just eliminate them?
Will it be effective w/o intake or exhaust mods?
Will it void my warrantee? (I have extended warrantee.)

Best mod you can do to your bike for the price. I did both mine and my wifes, both were plug and play with no dyno. I put Rinehart slip ons and Stage 1 air cleaners on both at the same time.
I didn't buy the auto tune simply becuase I do not plan on doing any other mods, just wanted a little more power and cool things down a bit. Accomplished both very well.
will not void the warranty in Canada, I am sure it is the same in the US but someone from there can pipe in that might know better.
do it, you won't regret it!

The PCV is a fantastic investment. You will get more power right away and increased throttle response. FuelMoto's maps are very close if not dead on in most cases. If you have money to burn then get a dyno, but I don't think its needed. I don't have Auto Tune and I'm not quite sure if I will add it since I have no long term plans to do any mods to the motor. Of course that may change.

Jamie is the MAN..
After a couple calls and conversations with Jamie about the pros/cons of the pc V. I finally broke down and called wed afternoon around 1:30 and ordered the unit and the stage 1 air kit.. at 9:30 this morning the big brown truck showed up and guess what....

I have a COOLER running 08 now .. just a couple mile ride in but a big difference ..
For those who have any doubts on service with Jamie and Fuel Moto ..He is 100% customer oriented and great to deal with.

Yes, especially if you buy from Fuel Moto. There you will get a low price, double warranty, an excellent map matched to your bike and equipment, and top-drawer customer service.

A Fuel Moto PCV does not require a dyno tune for the majority of owners. Only those with odd configurations or those who want the peace-of-mind from doing a custom dyno tune, but with the latter there is no assurance you will achieve any gains.

Do most people get the sensor kit or just eliminate them?
If you mean Auto-Tune, it isn't needed for most riders. If you enjoy tweaking (like I do) and/or plan on doing incremental changes to your configuration, you might be a candidate for AT. Otherwise I would try the basic PCV first and upgrade later if needed.

Will it be effective w/o intake or exhaust mods?
Some, but freeing up your intake and exhaust is an important step to better performance.

Will it void my warrantee? (I have extended warrantee.)
Not unless the PCV causes an otherwise warrantable issue. This is unlikely and I've never heard of a PC causing a problem that would otherwise be covered by the warranty. I have also never heard of anyone being denied their warranty simply because a PC was installed. Much of this depends on the dealer and their attitude.
