Me and 3 friends take our bikes on a nice road trip to the Jack Daniels Distillery in lynchburg, TN yesterday. Man that was such a great trip. We took about 75% back roads up there and it was great. The distillery has a nice free tour and the smell in the vat towers is like being in liquid heaven. We walked the tour and then over the the historic part of town. The ride back was great as well(all but the time we had to take I-75 from chattanooga,tn to Calhoun, ga). We get off 75 and take all back roads back to home. Total mileage is 483 round trip. This was the first long trip I have taken on the glide since I traded the heritage for it, I was pleased that I didnt suffer on it like I did on the heritage. All said I was a fun time for all and look forward to the next long trip.Again I-75 really, really does suck, even in a car and while on a bike you just feel like your gonna die.
Sorry no pics from me. I was riding solo. A buddy of mines wife was ( I think taking pictures). The outside of the place and the vistior lobby was the only place pictures are allowed to be taken.
Was through there on a mc years ago, took the tour and they treated us quite nice.
Back then the tour guide would take a group picture of the tour and mail it to your home. They also gave out a big bottle of the spring water used to distill.
They still do that? It was a dry county when I was there, still no drinking?
