I have an 09 SE Ultra. i am thinking of putting Klock Werks Ergo back bars on. has anyone else tried them? do they require new cables and how difficult are they to install?

I have them on my bike. I love em. Mcuh more comfortable. The wrist position makes a big difference. I had the dealer put them on over winter. They did change a cable or two? I dont remember. They didn't charge me extra for the cables to be ran through the bars. They said it was set up nice enough that they just did it. They are not cheap, but I would do it again if I had to.

You will need to reroute the clutch cable (very easy) and you will need a longer throttle sending unit if you want to run the wire inside the bar. Run the wires outside and you don’t need to buy anything other than the bars.

I hated them for several reasons not the least of which is the back pain; you won’t get any “back” out of them. The wrist angle is great other than that they are a poor design. I went back to the stock bars.

Klock Werks has great customer service until you have a problem.

I had great customer service from them. I called and told them they sent me scratched bars. they sent new bars right away. They even let me exchange a fender and dash (both KW) that I got from somewhere else.

My back bars are further back then stock

I am trying to figure out if I need new cables for the ergo back bars? Anyone that has them what did you need to do? I don't want to re route my clutch cable . I am looking to find out the extension of length I will need for my clutch cable and throttle cables? Is +2 going to be enough? What did you do about the stock brake line?

I did not have to get anything other than the bars. I have a 2008 Street Glide and all I had to buy was the bars.

I gave them over 2,000 miles, never liked them and went back to the stock bars.
