Try dealing directly with Mustang, it's worth a call. They offer cheap shipping to you and will give you 10 days to test ride the seat, if you don't like it, send it back.
I bought a new Day Tripper Solo for my Road King directly from Mustang last Fall, it shipped for $1.00 to my door. It went on a 4-day 500 mile ride and I just didn't like the way it felt, so I boxed it up and sent it back. No hassle, called for a RMA, cost me about $14.00 return shipping, no hassles.
Just another suggestion. I ended up buying a Sundowner Solo from a Forum member and have been very happy with it.
I bought mine from American Classic Motors from ebay. I had heard of some poor experiences, but the price savings seemed worth the risk. I did contact them directly before making the purchase to make sure the seat was in stock. It went well, and I saved quite a bit of money.
My dealings directly with Mustang have been mediocre at best. If I didn't want that specific seat so much, I would not have bought their product.
