Default Cruise control kill switch location

Does anyone know where the cruise control kill switch for the clutch is location? The clutch starts slipping on my '07 Road King Classic before the cruise with disengage.

Pull your front brake lever instead.

Just throttle down. Sorry, I didn't pay attention to your ride. No I don't know where the clutch kill switch is.

I do use the front brake lever as a rule but when something is suppose to work, then I want it to do what it's designed to do.

There is a multi-page diagnostic in the FSM.

There is no clutch "kill switch" per se; at least not in the sense that there is a throttle roll-off switch that disengages the cruise control. I've replaced the clutch cable on my bike and there is no electrical or mechanical connection to the cruise control in or on the cable or the clutch lever.

If your clutch is slipping, it's probably a clutch adjustment issue.

Hope you find a solution to the slipping clutch.

Don't pull the front brakes on, just engage the lever slightly. The same thing will happen if you engage the clutch lever or lightly tap the rear brake.

Not sure if this works on the 07 models but my 09 SG I just roll the throtte backwards a little and it disengages the cruise control rather that hit a brake pedal or switch the cruise off. But it sounds like your issue maybe a clutch adjustment issue IMHO! Good Luck!

Default Cruise control disengage

What has been said before applies to my '07 Ultra.

Want to kill the cruise: just tap the front brake enough to activate the brake lights. Roll the throttle back/off and that will do it, hit the rear brake pedal also enough to activate the brake lights, or just pull the clutch handle in to disengage the clutch (that is always my last choice).

There isn't any clutch handle switch.

As far as the clutch slipping....go to the dealer.

Unless there is a switch internal to the engine (I don't think so) then the cruise is disengaged by the clutch safety switch located in the clutch lever through the TSM. On my Ultra, I have to pull the clutch in pretty much all the way to engage the switch so I'm not surprised the clutch will start slipping before the cruise is disengaged. I don't think the switch is adjustable as it is designed to engage with the clutch lever completely in so the rider can't start the bike in gear with the clutch lever patially pulled in. IMO the bike is working properly but using the clutch to disengage the cruise may not be your best option.
