I have a C&C solo I have on 90% of the time. When my GF comes with me I put on the Sundowner. I had the sundowner on this past weekend and when I just took it off to put back on the solo, I noticed that a bolt on the bottom of the Sundowner dug into the paint on the fender. GREAT!!
My question is...Does anyone make a tank bib like piece that can run from under the solo to the factory seat bolt? Something like the SE Fatboys have with their solo. They have that chrome piece.
Its about an inch towards the seat from the factory screw.
I had one made by my leather guy, he use a laser edging process and came out great using my avatar. not so bold but subtle. look better than the picture is showing my license plate say BaldHog also.

I'm assuming that you can put the 2 rider seat over the top of the bib so that the fender doesn't get scratched in the first place or are they simply designed to cover up the existing scratches?
I ride with a Corbin solo and when I install the Corbin pillion or the HD stock seat I always take a piece of folded t-shirt and lay it under the seat so that it doesn't come in direct contact with the rear fender. That keeps the spot nice and shiny and no marks !!!
