09 ultra fender tip lights

Hello,

I have an 09 ultra and I noticed a week or so ago that my front and rear fender tip lights have gone out. no other lights on the bike are out, just those. I've checked the wires and nothing looks chafed unless the front fender tip lamp is chafed under the fairing. does anyone have any ideas why both the front and rear lights would go out, but no other lights at all? my tourpack lights all work, tail light, turn signals, aux lights upfront, etc. I was thinking maybe a fuse went out but I was looking in service manual and didn't see any fuse that was dedicated to just those 2 lights.

any ideas would be helpful. I tried getting it in to a dealer on friday the 3rd but I walked in when they opened and they basically blew me off and said they were swamped (2 guys were in there for a service..... sure are swamped!)

I made an appt to get it in for warranty work on saturday but they said tracing out electrical problems would take all day. I'm fairly knowledgeable about troubleshooting electrical but would like some ideas where to start now that I've checked the wiring and no other lights are out. My last bike was a sporty, so things weren't nearly as complicated to troubleshoot lol

also, as a side question, anyone had any luck getting a dealer to do a free stage1 download to fix the lean pinging from the 09 touring bikes? running 93 octane I hear pinging quite a bit when I'm trying to accelerate getting on interstate once the bike is warmed up and I know it's because the lean condition.... it's killing me and I do plan to get a PCV soon but will be a few months before I can afford one. I'd just like a fix for the summer to richen it up until I can get a PCV.

The fender lights are on the same circuit as the other lights. The rear is LED so it's unlikely it is bad. In the fuse panel there is a 15 amp mini fuse labeled lights. Check that.

I was planning to check that fuse but if the fender lights are on the same circuit as the other lights, wouldn't all the lights have gone out rather than just the 2 fender lights?
