Default Socket Size for Brembo Brake Caliper Removal

I did some research, but am finding varying results for which socket size, type, and drive size everyone uses to get the Caliper bolts out from the Brembo brakes. I have an 08 with ABS (if that makes a difference). I am simply looking for the socket (believe it will be a 12 pt.), and possibly a link to a site for purchase.

Thanks in advance.

A standard 10 mm 12 point socket fits my '08 EG (w/ABS).

Just replaced my pads on my 08 RK with Lyndall Z+
Pad Pin is a 5mm Allen on a 3/8" socket drive.
The caliper is a 8mm Allen on a 3/8" socket. Both purchased at Sears.
I would recommend buying a pad pin kit for both calipers ($8.95). Comes with new pad pin and clip.
Use caliper grease Autozone or any Auto store) on the pad pin and also on the the back side of the pads where it contacts with the pistons. This will eliminate any squeeks or squeals. Make sure to use anti seize on the pad pin threads and torque everything to spec. I would also clean the pistons so they don't stick.

Go to this link and click the download pdf icon. I followed this procedure and it was very easy.

it's bound to be a 12 point metric. 10mm as the previous poster said.
