I got it all done, wasn't too bad. I didn't realize I needed someone to help me hold the bike upright while I took out the bolts near the jiffy stand. He was too busy to take a ride on it when I did it I am going to check with him tomorrow. Hopefully it helps with the pricing on my future tats.

i didn't know about the soos footboard extenders, but i was at the harley shop a year or so ago, and kuryakyn had a set of 3/4" spacers with bolts, etc. i installed the kit and it really made a difference while riding. if i'd had remembered that soos had a kit, i'd have gotten theirs instead though. remember, blue loctite is your friend, although it does have a sweet taste. trust me, after using enough, eventually you'll end up holding the cap in your mouth cause you only got two hands, you'll discover this about the taste. and trust the guys in here, "it's so easy even a cave man can do it"

It's really a one man job. There are 4 bolts that hold the jiffy stand and you are only removing two. It doesn't hurt to have help though.
