I replaced the stock slip ons with SEII s...$60 on EBAY...I think they sound ok...better than some,not a good as others...thinking about a two into one but afraid I may not like the sound...havnt had the opportunity to hear one yet...

i have rineharts on my 08 sg, and they're great. not obnoxious sounding at all. i've in fact had them on my last few harleys. and when me and my friends go riding, each time one of them will comment, like, "man ya just gotta love those rineharts" stereo friendly too. but they do got that great thump.

The Bub/Rush set I have sound good, but sound even better when you twist the hammer. I think to get to that real HD rumble, you have to build up your top motor (cams,heads,etc). That is my next upgrade this Winter unless I go with a new bike. I have a 88", but a bigger motor will still need some bulked up parts to get that sound. The stock cams do not cut it. Throw on a good set of pipes and new cams, and you'll hear a difference.

My Rinehart's will HOLLER if I want them to (grabbing a handful), but cruising along at 65 I can still hear my stereo no problem, and if I'm driving around town and not being an idiot, I don't think I'll have to worry about getting ticketed for noise violations.
