just a note on thunderheaders.. i drove a 08 flhx the dealer had here in chilliwack b.c..it had 7500 km on it with thunderheader slip ons..now i know exhaust is a very personal preference but i would put these raspy,noisy pieces of crap in the nearest garbage bin and drive home with none,,,took it back in 20 minutes..j.m.h.o

What year is your bike? I have yet to hear a 96TC do the potato potato potato sound. When i think of how a Harley should sound, i always think of a carbed bike with pretty much open exhaust and the idle so low that it sounds like it's fighting to stay running. I would be in heaven if the new bikes could do that. Having said that, I really really really need some aftermarket slipons.
