The best mod I have done was to add the HD hard lowers. That cured 98+ % of all the buffeting (fork baffle is removed). I have a Clearview +1" w/s but that alone did little for the buffeting. When I removed my soft lowers earlier this spring, I noticed a big increase in buffeting so I decided to try hard lowers and that worked like a charm. Best improvement I've made to this bike. Second best was the HD Screamin' Eagle Touring mufflers (I love them, now that they've broken in.) I also love the stock seat and have no thought of changing it.
Of all the mods I have done to my bike, I'd say that I'm sorry I didn't put the Jagg 10 row oil cooler on first. 30* reduction in temp immediately. I ordered mine without the thermostat, because the valve gets stuck either open or closed at some point. In Winter I just cover it with a piece of black corrugated cardboard and 2 zip ties...keeps the wind off of it.
Lot's of Road Glide buyers it seems lately! Bout time they were catchin on. Just in time for the full dresser Tour Glide to make a come-back. You see allot of guys on the left coast riding Roadies and if you watch the TV shows, you see many H-Angels on Roadies too.
Look down between the forks and you'll see a semi circle piece of metal with two bolts attaching it , redirects air .. sposed to take it off in summer and put it on in winter , most just either leave it on or off ..
My Tour Glides I removed them and still have them stashed away somewhere along with the one from the roadie ..

Well I've only made a few mods to mine but I love 'em all so far...12" klockwerks tinted flare shield, Khrome Works +2 sweeper bars, and Kuryakyn isogrips.
Reinharts and Scream-n-Eagle Heavy Breather. Why?, do u ask? Ya get more of that V-Twin Milwaukee Vibrator Sound. And it gives that Throttle ....just...a little better responce. V-Room-V-Room!
