I guess, personily I like riding with others if they are sain, one group that I ride with some times they are all young, and like to go like hell, I realy don't like that, they never stop to see the sites, and literoly 90 MPH all the time, they there is a group of older people, like me who like to take the back roads, see what there is to see, and are fun company.
I realy don't like to ride a lone.

I'm with you on going alone. One thing to do however to protect yourself is to let people know that you'll have your cell phone on. That way is something unforseen does happen then can triangulate your position and find you.

+1 to riding alone. I'd say 99% of my riding whether it be long distance or short, is done alone. Just like to set my own pace and stop when I feel like seeing something. Just returned from a 1500 mile solo trip to the Texas Hill Country, had a very enjoyable time.

I'm with you, I have 30K miles on my 08 FLTR and 99.9% were solo, me and the bike. Unfortunately, my best buds don't ride but it works out since I like the freedom solo riding provides.

I found a cool (free) iPhone App called GPS Tracker. It sends your location to a website at any interval you choose (1 sec, 10 sec etc.) and plots the info on a Google map in real-time. When I head out alone, I leave the computer on the web page and anyone at home can watch my progress. They have apps for other phones too.

+1... just did 2000 miles thru AZ, NM and Colorado solo this week. A great way to clear the head. There are always plenty of other bikers to shoot the chit with when ya stop.
