samson silver bullet

anyone have them? sound quality and how loud on a scale of 1 to 10

From: Southern California High Desert, here and there....

Had them (silver bullet slip ons). Had to take them off, too quiet for me. Replaced with V&H true duals with open fishtails

My brother and I both had them on our Road Kings for several years. We replaced them when Rineharts came out. I used to work at a MC shop and we used my bike to demo the mufflers. Sold tons of them. I loved them but changed because of the true duals set up.

I had Samson silver bullet fishtails with no baffles and had to change to Vance and Hines as they were way too LOUD.

I have a set of Silver Bullet fish tails on my Roadking. They are (were) loud and tinny sounding. I put some baffles wrapped in fibergalss in them, right where I like the sound. Before baffles, sound 10, after baffles, sound 6-7.
